MIMOSA B5x

Mimosa B5x is one of the best performing backhaul solutions in unlicensed band. It is ideal for both short and medium-range wireless connections in the free 5GHz band and in the licensed 4.9GHz band.
It is equipped with an integrated 8dBi antenna with the possibility of increasing the gain by purchasing separately one of the "Twist" antennas of the N5-X series which includes a 12dBi and 16dBi horn models and a 20dBi and 25dBi dishes.
The antennas can be installed on the B5x in a very simple and rapid way by simply screwing them to the appropriate port of the B5x.

Dual radio with band aggregation

The Mimosa B5x features two independent radios with the ability to select frequency and channel width on each radio. The band of the two individual radios is automatically aggregated on the Ethernet port of the device, effectively doubling the capacity.

FDD Full Duplex mode

In addition to the standard TDD (Time Domain Division) mode, typical of devices of this class, the Mimosa B5 allows you to select the FDD mode with different channel widths which, set on both channels, allows you to operate in Full Duplex mode.

Spectrum analysis in real time

The B5x has a dedicated chip for scanning the spectrum in real time which allows to obtain an analysis of the occupation of the spectrum both on the local and on the remote device and show it in a single screen.
Both during initial installation and later, during optimization or maintenance, a glance is enough to identify the freest frequencies in the spectrum and with just a few clicks, set them on the two connection devices to obtain maximum performance.
Assessing the integrity of the Wireless Link and identifying potential problems has never been easier.

Double Reliability

Thanks to the double radio, the device ensures native and automatic redundancy, also increasing the possibility of obtaining maximum performance, especially in the presence of strong interference.
