The filters are made of milled solid aluminum and brass, completely silver-plated, and each incorporates five resonant cavities.
The filters can be tuned from 2.3GHz to 2.5GHz and are easily adjusted thanks to the optalloy-plated micrometric screws, all of which are easily accessible.
The width of each channel can be set from a minimum of 5MHz to approximately 20MHz and can be adjusted using the appropriate micrometric controls.

The internal coupler combines the filters on a single connector via calibrated coaxial lines.
The entire combiner, mounted on a 19" 2-unit chassis, is supplied already calibrated and tested at the required frequencies.
The connectors for the two channels and the antenna, female N type, are mounted on the front panel together with the female BNC type RF Monitor connector, which is very useful for monitoring the combined RF signals with a spectrum analyzer.

The CMB2-5C-23 DUPLEXER Combiner/Splitter can be used to combine two transmitters with different frequencies on a single antenna or to split two signals with different frequencies received from an antenna with minimal loss in both cases.
The applications mainly concern Link 2. 3-2.5GHz for FM Broadcasting or DAB Radio, but also the use of multiple 2.4GHz WiFi devices with a single antenna for long-distance point-to-point connections and, in general, all professional applications in the 2.3-2.5GHz band where it is necessary to use a single antenna for multiple devices, minimizing space and tower rental costs.
On the graph, you can see a plot example of a combiner with two filters calibrated at 2440MHz and 2480MHz with the total frequency response at the antenna connector.
As you can see, the pass loss on the single channel is less than 1.5dB, while the isolation between the two channels is greater than 60dB.
