Outdoor duplex LC-LC fiber optic joint for 5.5mm diameter cable, IP68 seal

The CON-WFO-LC-LC-IP68 model is an IP68 waterproof connector for the "flying" splicing of Duplex Fiber Optic patches with LC-LC optical connectors in Outdoor and Industrial environments.

The connector is compatible with all LC-LC Duplex (Tx/Rx) fibres enclosed in a single PE (or similar) sheath with a diameter between 4 and 6mm that have one side with complete coverage of the sheath up to the LC-LC connector.

Using the WFO-SD-PE30_30-2LC-xx and WFO-SD-PE30_0-2LC-xx patch cables, which have these characteristics, it is possible to create completely watertight fiber optic connections of up to 80 meters.

This type of fiber optic data connection is very useful and often indispensable in telecommunications sites with strong electromagnetic fields that make the use of Ethernet cables difficult or impossible or in industrial environments.
