Mimosa Networks Gigabit PoE Adapter/ Injector

The Mimosa 502-00030 is an AC-DC adapter with integrated Gigabit Ethernet PoE (Power Over Ethernet) injector.

The Poe Adapter has an input range of 100–240 VAC ~ 50/60Hz Max 1.5A with IEC-C socket and connection cable supplied, there are also two shielded RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, one for data and one for PoE (Power Over Ethernet) output.

The output is passive PoE with a voltage of 24Vdc and a maximum current of 1.2A (28.2W max).

PoE voltage uses all four pairs of the Ethernet cable (mode A + mode B); the positive is applied to pins 1,2,4,5, while the GND (return) is applied to pins 3,6,7,8.
Using all four pairs of wires results in a lower voltage drop on the Ethernet cable, which is especially useful when the cable length and/or the power drawn by the PoE device are high.

The Mimosa 502-00030 PoE Injector is specifically designed for Mimosa C5x, C6x, C6x lite wireless devices but can be used to power all devices with 24V passive PoE (not standard 802.3af/at) that have a power consumption not exceeding 28 watts.
